In Ibiza, our only branch is located at the main airport, Aeroport d'Eivissa (Ibiza Airport). The main airport is a busy international hub, handling long and short-haul flights from all over the EU. The airport is constantly busy, as air travel is the main way to get to or from the island itself. There are no alternate rail or road links in. If you need to go straight from flying in to driving across the island, we'll be ready to provide the vehicle that you need. Enterprise is located across from the main terminal on the main one-way loop into the airport.

Attractions In Ibiza

Ibiza is internationally famous for music, dancing and clubbing, alongside the cultured nightlife that the wider city can provide. Since the early 80s, Ibiza has been a prime venue for major electronic artists, DJ sets and rock bands to perform at. The center of the city, with its many bars, clubs and hotels often sees performances from some of the best live acts on the planet. Watching the sun rise over the bay at the end of a great night out has practically become an Ibiza tradition.

Places To Visit Outside Ibiza

Of course, Ibiza is not just the city. Sant Antoni and Santa Eulària are two traditional Ibizan towns that could be a better choice if you're looking for a quieter day out sightseeing. Sant Antoni contains the famous Egg of Colombus modernist monument. The surrounding countryside and coastal routes are also regarded as a beautiful drive. In particular, the Benirràs Bay is well worth seeing. The coastline there forms one of the most important parts of the Ibiza UNESCO world heritage landscape. Horseback riding is also a popular activity in the highlands of Ibiza, only a short drive from the city.

Parking And Traffic Information In Ibiza

Traffic and parking on Ibiza can be unpredictable. While it might appear that Ibiza would have light traffic due to being an island, tourist season can mean that a moderate number of vehicles are moving around on small roads. If you plan your journey in advance, you should be perfectly fine, as with anywhere else. Parking may be limited to individual spaces in most Ibizan towns. However, some dedicated car parks do exist for use around all of the mainland ferry terminals.

Driving Information in Ibiza

In Ibiza, as in the rest of Spain, they drive on the right hand side, this is sometimes hard to remember on smaller road and roundabouts, so drive carefully.

  • Priority rules: As a general rule you give way to the right at intersections. On a roundabout, cars already on the roundabout have priority.
  • Speed limits are slightly lower than in the UK so watch out for signs.
  • Seatbelts must be worn both in the front and back seats. 
  • Children who are shorter than 135 cm (4 feet, 5 inches) must use an approved child seat or harness. If you need one, you can reserve and pay for your child car seat when you are booking your rental car.
  • It's illegal to use a mobile phone when driving, unless you have a hands free system.
